Wang Xiaopeng, president of Beijing EyeSmart Technology Co. Ltd.: Dr. Wang Xiaopeng graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2003, with a major in electronic information engineering. He studied at Bath University and received his doctorate in digital image processing; he participated in the joint R&D project of EU’s Sixth Framework Programme (COGNIRON) during his doctoral study. He worked at British Petroleum Exploration and Development Headquarters of Royal Dutch Shell as the geophysicist, responsible for prospective study of seismic signal processing and high resolution imaging and inversion of underground oil formations. He returned back China in 2010 and established Beijing EyeSmart Technology Co. Ltd., successfully expanded the biological recognition market of China. He led EyeSmart team to develop nearly 50 patented products.
