Li Chaohong, founder of Suzhou MicroClear Medical Instruments Co., Ltd.: Li graduated from Jilin University in 2003, with a major in applied physics, and received his doctor’s degree in engineering from the Institute of Optics and Electronics, CAS in 2007, with a major in optics engineering. In the same year he engaged in the frontier research of ophthalmology at the University of Houston in the United States, and published several high-quality theses on optics, optics engineering and high resolution image processing in the international authority journals, and holds several invention patents in the United States and China. He returned China in 2010, and received support from SIP technological pioneer program and was engaged as research fellow by Wenzhou Medical University in 2011. He is chairman and general manager of Suzhou MicroClear Medical Instruments Co. Ltd. With revitalizing the national enterprises as his mission, Li has devoted to localization of ophthalmic medical devices, and developed a series of mid- and high-end ophthalmic medical devices and biomedical imaging products with independent intellectual property rights.
