Feng Xiangdong, chairman of GFTEM Environmental Protection Technology Co. Ltd: Feng is the academician of American Ceramics Society and the vice director of China Enterprise Directors Association. He graduated from Hunan Normal University and was sent the United States to further study at public expense as a member of the first batch of students appointed by Ministry of education of the PRC. In 1988, Feng received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Catholic University of America and EMBA from Cleveland State University. Feng served as researcher in the Argonne National Laboratory, senior researcher and chief scientist in Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. He also joined Ferro as chairman of core technology, manager of new technology and CTO of its Asian-Pacific region.
